Authorization to access is unchanged
Referecencing files in various storage requiers a user how want to access to any file need to give it's credential to access the storage.
Password are never shared
If Docube link to a storage that needs a password, user has to login as today, no change.
Docube password do not give access to any document and is strickly personal.
Docube store files like other drivers?
Definitly NO
We only reference files stored in other systems. Docube organise those reference as versions for specific document, giving access to the a cross-platform library with all your document at 3 clicks from your fingertips.
Document are stored where they are today
Any storage that suite you will be suitable for Docube. You just have to reference that storage.
